The right main landing gear of this Piper PA-28R Arrow is stuck, and will not come down.

The plane has to land and is running low on fuel. A dangerous but innovative solution is finally found.

This was an awesome rescue action. Nobody was hurt.

The gear repair will be a heck of a lot cheaper than an engine rebuild and another prop, as well as possible damage to the a/c structurally. Insurance does not cover everything. It was really really dangerous, however, the guy in the car made the decision to give it a try.
