Imagine a Boeing 777, the long-range 300ER version to be exact.

Imagine its thrust reversers, landing gear, seats, entire cabin. Now you will see it all made with manila folders, some glue and a lot of patience.

Luca Iaconi-Stewart did all of this in 1:60 scale.

“It even blows my own mind,” he says. “I don’t know how I’ve done a lot of it.”

There are some mesmerizing parts that move like the cabin doors, the retractable landing gear, complete with suspension, wing flaps…

“I really enjoy the sense of calm and mediation that it brings when I really get into the building process,” he says. “It’s really exhilarating when you get to the end and you see a component coming to life.”
