Okay, nothing to say about the comparison… but using an A-10 as an anti-maritime platform… really?
I mean with which weapons??
Actually, the cannon on an A-10 can easily shread the armor an any ship afloat as well as being capable of carrying several anti-ship weapons, though this capability is not widely advertised, nor ever used real-time that I have heard. The B-52 also have a very capable anti-maritime mission as well, but again, not widely known, and certainly not utilized. Doubtful many of the people flying either airframe today has even has currency on this options.
