That’s plane brilliant!

This highly unusual home was made using the two wings and tail section of a scrapped Boeing 747.

David Hertz spotted the scrap Boeing 747 and paid $26,000 and used it to build this stunning house in the remote hills of Malibu, California.

Hertz, from Los Angeles, was tasked by Francie Rehwald who wanted curves and feminine shapes for her dream house.

The large wing sections from the Boeing 747 were carried into place by a Chinook helicopter

It took 5 years to complete the task. Francie now calls it Wing House.
