As the ruler of the oil-rich Sultanate of Brunei on the island of Borneo, the Sultan of Brunei is considered to be one of the richest monarchs in the world.

It should be noted though that the Sultan also has a whole collection of wide body jets at his disposal, including two Airbus A340s and a 767, but the Boeing 747-430 is his largest aircraft.

Given that Brunei is awash in oil, we suspect that the Sultan is not too worried about fuel efficiency or the cost of operating such a fleet!

As you can see below, the Sultan spared no expense to outfit his private jet.

His majesty paid at least $100 million to purchase a Boeing 747 and then another $120 million to outfit the aircraft with an interior that befits a Sultan.

Here is the master bedroom in his flying palace.

The master bedroom and luxury bathroom are all decorated with gold and Lalique crystal

A Gold Plated Sink. Yes, you didn’t read it wrong, a gold plated sink!

This guy doesn’t just ride in style, he rides epic.

Pretty disgusting when most of your population are living in poverty and this goon has several private jets and obscene wealth. One country I am glad to never visit or fly their airline.
