Brian Christoff: “I filmed this in 1986, while onboard the aircraft carrier USS America, in the Mediterranean Sea.”
“The jet jocks came up with this great plan to drop off three colored / greased up pigs, onto the flight deck of our relieving aircraft carrier, the USS Saratoga. We used the excuse that we had some official paperwork to drop off. “
“They never saw it coming! Near the end, we ask for permission to do a “low pass up your port side”. To which, the Saratoga air boss responds “Negative!”.” “These were good times.”
They should have labeled the pigs 1, 2, and 4 so they would be looking for “the third pig” for days, if not weeks.
You carry live pigs in case they’re needed?
