I did something similar to that on my first solo cross country helicopter flight, during training at Ft. Wolters, Texas. I missed the waypoint at some little town, south of Ft. Worth, and landed in a farmer’s field to ask him for directions. Got them, took off, nosed it over, and made up for lost time.
