In the world of aviation, safety and precision are paramount. Even the slightest miscalculation or misjudgment can result in unexpected and sometimes dramatic situations. Such was the case on May 13, 2018, at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport when an Asiana Airlines Airbus A330 came into unexpected contact with a parked Turkish Airlines Airbus A321. The security camera footage from this incident captured a remarkable and, fortunately, non-lethal mishap.
Despite the dramatic nature of the collision, one fortunate aspect was the absence of injuries. Passengers aboard both aircraft remained unharmed.
