That photo of the XB-70 Valkyrie is pretty special, as it was the last moments for this aircraft and the XB-70 program.

It was one of 2 airframes ever made, and on this day it was the centerpiece in a line up of GE powered military aircraft assembled for a PR shot. They flew in formation for around 20 minutes, until the Starfighter on the right got a little too close under the wing of the Valkyrie. It made contact and rolled across the top of the Valkyrie, wiping off the vertical stabilizers, and both aircraft crashed.
