So, there’s my luggage!
Interesting !!! …a ghost that leaves a shadow… I feel a fake coming on.
Looks like a 737 with only 1 engine on each side — comparing it to the 747 to the left
It’s not ghostly you can see its shadow. It is just photoshoped.
I would guess its Google’s photostitching software.
It is caused by a light rain just before push back. That is dey ground were it was sitting
Haha… Obviously on the border of two satellite images taken at different times cross faded together. Normally you cant see it, but planes are pretty big!
Id say its a 767-200 comparing sizes to the 747…
Looks like there is a ghost bus and a ghost jetway along with it.
Google Maps satpics have to overlap somewhere guys.
These 2 pics were most likely taken in 2 orbits with some time apart.
In the second picture taken one aircraft already left, or wasn’t there in the first one.
I remember seeing this when google earth first started. I believe this is the B concourse at DIA? I think there are a couple images meshed together by google and it was poorly done since i’ve never seen a 747 with a 45 degree twist at the front lol…
The plane on the left is a 747, but the ghosted image would more lightly be an Airbus 310. Less swept wing, considerably shorter fuselage. If it’s DIA, it’s possibly an Airbus A300, of AA.
@Tim: Good catch!
Did not see this at first, but you’re right. The B747′s entire fuselage has rolled right. Clearly visible at the cockpit and the tail.
Weird photo-stitching software!
Agreed it’s not a “ghost” airplane.. but it is a really cool looking effect.
Pretty fat for a 747… Isn’t that a 777?
Cool effect though… Kinda like my phone’s panorama shots… Makes me want to try and make some sort of ghost imagery. *evil smirk*
And LOL @ the 747… It’s probably planning to do a barrel-roll. O.o
