A military pilot called for a priority landing because his single-engine jet fighter was running “a bit peaked.”
Air Traffic Control told the fighter pilot that he was number two, behind a B-52 that had one engine shut down.
“Ah,” the fighter pilot remarked, “The dreaded seven-engine approach.
A B52 was en route to Europe from US but using 243.0 Mhz, the International Aeronautical Emergency Frequency, as a chat frequency, and using bad language. ATC reminded the pilot that 243.0 should only be used for emergencies and not use bad language whatever. The pilot casually replied “Sir, when you have a B52 strapped to your arse, everything is an emergency”.

Well, it seems to be that the tower controller was not neither sensible nor smart at all. I wouldn´t like to be in any of those jets…
